In which sphere more new enterprises have been established in Uzbekistan?
According to preliminary data of the Statistical Agency, the total number of newly established enterprises in January-June 2023 amounted to 47,681 units (excluding farms enterprises and dehkan farms), and by type of economic activity they were formed as follows:
in trade – 17,669 units
in industry – 7,906 units
in agriculture, forestry and fisheries – 5,535 units
in the field of accommodation and catering services – 3,007 units
in construction – 2,526 units
in transportation and storage – 2,235 units
in information and communication sector – 1,546 units
in health care and social services sector – 740 units
in other types of economic activity – 6,517 units
