Uzbekistan and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) have signed a memorandum on the implementation of the program for the period from 2025 to 2027 for a total amount of $3.5 billion.
Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan Khurram Teshabaev and ADB Director General for Central and West Asia Evgeny Zhukov signed the memorandum.
The document was signed during the 57th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank, which was held in Tbilisi from May 4 to 5.
Within the framework of the event, held under the general motto “Bridge to the Future”, the delegation of Uzbekistan headed by Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khodjaev took part.
The program includes projects of mutual interest to both sides and in line with the Development Strategy “Uzbekistan – 2030”.
